An opportunity exists for a highly motivated professional to join the Qantas Campus team  at Mascot  by Accor  as a Full Time Guest Service Attendant. Located at Qantas Campus by AccorHotels Mascot. Sofitel is seeking an elegant and professional Meeting Suite and Receptionist to join the Guest Service team at the Qantas Campus Mascot.

Qantas Campus Mascot, located within walking distance of the Mascot train station, offers a hosted guest experience, reception and switchboard services for the Campus and meeting rooms including Qantas Corporate boardrooms.

 

The Campus team are responsible for providing professional and personalised service to all Qantas guests, visitors, and suppliers, ensuring maximum guest satisfaction. To be successful in this sought after position, you will have excellent attention to detail, effective communication skills, proven experience within a quality establishment, and above all else, pride yourself on ability to exceed both the guest expectations and Campus standards.

Your key responsibilities will include: Maintaining a thorough knowledge of all Campus facilities. Completing check in and check out procedures and adhering to Campus standards. Maintaining guest records and relevant information during their visit. Monitoring group arrivals and communicating with the Event organiser  to ensure smooth operations. Communicating with a diverse range of people in a professional manner. Attending to guest’s requests quickly and efficiently, constantly striving to provide total customer satisfaction. Manging meeting room request and event orders through the Condecco property management system.

The successful applicant will: Have a minimum 12 months experience in a hotel environment. Be highly organised and able to effectively manage priorities. Initiate contact and establish rapport easily. Project a professional image at all times through personal presentation/interpersonal skills. Handle tasks carefully and correctly – be thorough and exact in details with a sense of urgency. Display high energy levels. Demonstrate versatility in responding to guest requests and situations. Remain calm and effective in high volume work situations. Be good team player; contribute to and assist co-workers without being asked. You will also be required to undergo full Federal Clearances in order to work in secure areas of the Qantas Campus.
