Co-ordinator, special events (Wedding Decorator/ Designer)
Terms of Employment: Seasonal, Part Time, Weekend, Evening
Salary: $10.75 to $11.25 Hourly for 25 hours per week
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: Kensington, Prince Edward Island (2 vacancies )
Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school, Some college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training, Some university
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Special events co-ordinator/manager certification, Certified special events professional (CSEP), Not required
Experience: Will train

Work Experience: Convention centres, Conference centres, Hotel, Resort
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Handling heavy loads, Attention to detail, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Fast-paced environment
Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver's licence, Own vehicle, Own transportation
Essential Skills: Communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing, Significant use of memory
Other Information:Hours vary from 10 to 25 hours per week until the end of October. Must be able to lift up to 25lbs, bending lifting, standing for long periods. Floral and interior design experience an asset.
