The role: This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated Project Officer to join a growing organisation that is focused, fast paced and fun. This role requires an enthusiastic person who is passionate about health and/or social services, who has strong project coordination and/or management experience, including administration and stakeholder engagement skills. Importantly, you’ll need a desire to grow and learn in a busy and broad service delivery environment.

The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for the project coordination to deliver Redkite’s Financial Assistance Transformation (FAP-T) project. This is an exciting transformational project for our flagship service, providing financial assistance to young people and families across Australia who are faced with the financial impact of a cancer diagnosis.

This role will work with an experienced project manager within the Services Management Team and in this role the successful candidate will be encouraged and supported to further develop their project management skills.

Your ability to work autonomously, whilst working closely with other members of the team is integral to this role, as are your strong problem-solving skills and initiative.

About you: The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the following skills & experience: Experience using contemporary approaches (agile, lean thinking) and tools (RACI) to support effective project coordination. Demonstrated experience in working with a range of stakeholders (internal and external) to achieve project deliverables. Ability to produce work of a high quality within established timeframes with minimal supervision and show initiative in tasks.

Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills. Ability to adapt to individual work styles and varying situations, with a flexible approach. Redkite is committed to child safety.
