Meat-Packer/Process Worker, Adelaide, Specialty Foods. Meat packer/Factory Process Worker required for busy South Australian Meat Wholesalers/Retailers and Food Service Company located in the suburb of The barton, just outside of the Adelaide CBD. The position involves working Monday to Friday, and early starts are required too, i.e. 5:00-5:30am. Due to the early starts, applicants must have a driver's license , and be able to arrange their own transport to and from work. Hours of work will vary from week to week. Overtime may be available too.
Duties included, but not limited to: Receival, picking and packing of orders, stock rotation in the chillers, order preparation, checking off stocks, making schnitzels, marinating meats, making kebabs/shaslicks, vacuum packing operations, cooking oven operations, operating a map-pack machine, packing, traying, bagging and boxing of meats and associated meat products and other miscellaneous duties too. They must be flexible with their hours of work, and possess strong communication skills too. Applicants must Be able to work autonomously, as well as part of a team too.
