Assist with laying out fit and welds fabricated components to assemble to structural forms. (Such as skids, oilfield tanks, and pipe plumbing for same.) Assist in lifts, moves and holds, or clamps work pieces to tables, into jigs or into position as directed.1 Verify all fitting and welding is being done per Engineering blueprints and specifications. Check quality of parts and weldments to ensure accuracy of dimension and quantity. Must be willing to cross-train into other areas as required to meet production schedules and/or manufacturing needs. Capable of operating an overhead crane.

Must be able to work extra hours daily and on weekends as required. Must be able to work in a non-controlled climate – i.e. no air conditioning in the plant. All employees are required to assist in plant housekeeping. Including, but not limited to – sweeping, emptying trash barrels, proper storage of chemicals, etc. Must follow all safety and environmental policies and programs; must be able to use personal safety devices as required by company policy; report any activities that could be detrimental to safety and/or the loss of productivity; report any injuries when they occur.

Qualifications: Must be able to pass a 3G weld test. 3-5 years welding fabrication experience preferred. Must have knowledge of ASME, AWS or API standards. Ability to certify to the required ASME or AWS codes. Must proficiently operate oxy/fuel torch. Job: Manufacturing Schedule: Full-time Shift: Day Job
