Landscape labourer
Terms of Employment: Seasonal, Full Time, Day, Evening
Salary: $12.00 to $15.00 Hourly for 44 hours per week
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: Saint John, New Brunswick (4 vacancies )
Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Not required
Experience: Experience an asset
Work Setting: Landscape contractor
Type of Machinery or Equipment: S-od cutter, Weed trimmer/edger, Fork-lift, Pick-up truck, Small engine equipment
Specific Skills: Assist with landscape constructions, Cart and spread topsoil and other materials, Lay s-od or seed, Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs and trees, Apply fertilizers, Water lawns/gardens, Write daily basic progress reports
Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Repetitive tasks, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Attention to detail, Ability to distinguish between colours, Bending, crouching, kneeling
Work Site Environment: Outdoors
Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation, Willing to travel, Valid driver's licence
