provides training in English, Business, Marketing, Leadership and Accounting to international students.
About the role: The College is currently seeking an experienced Student Services Officer with demonstrated administration experience to start immediately The ideal candidate will have excellent people skills, and will join the team as a full-time Student Services Officer.
The Student Services Officer (SSO) is part of a team responsible for ensuring students are successfully and accurately enrolled in the College and in Government information systems. They are also required to assist in helping students with various issues, including administration, progression throughout their studies, and simple academic issues.
Essential criteria include: Ability to deliver a high standard of customer service in a busy work environment. Excellent organizational and prioritizing skills. Ability to communicate effectively through conversation, telephone and written methods. Ability to work within a team. Proficient in MS Office. Experience working within a Registered Training Organization or similar. Experience and thorough understanding of the VET Sector, ELICOS Sector, and Standards for RTO's. Must have a great team attitude. Ability to learn new systems quickly and efficiently.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Dealing with international students and education agent queries. Assisting with student orientation. Data entry of student details into the database (RTOM), maintenance of student files. Generate various reports from database. Support students in enquiries and day-to-day academic issues. Ensuring accurate, reliable and accountable records management. Other duties allocated by the Student Services Manager or Admin Manager
Successful candidates will possess the following: Strong customer service skills. Team spirit and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, verbal and written. Great time management. Ability to multi-task.
Desirable (but not essential) Criteria: Fluency in other languages would be a plus. Experience with WISENET and/or RTO Manager.
