Stock Controller, Location: City Centre, Cape Town, Job Type: Full-Time. Reporting to the Distribution Centre Manager this role manages all inventory control related activities by executing inventory control measures to ensure integrity and accuracy of the company's stock holding. The role will see you develop and maintain strong relationships with the other internal department managers and external customers.

Your duties: Develop the inventory management strategy with the aim of controlling stock within each departmental warehouse. Manage inventory transactions, including daily reconciliation of stock and rework transfers, inventory forecasting, analysis, process production work orders. Ensure daily stock checks are performed and produce daily reports to ensure stock systems are controlled and discrepancies addressed and resolved. Be responsible for managing and running planned stock takes. Manage freight control and shipping documentation ensuring export documentation is accurate before submission. File, maintain and implement improvements to all inventory control processes and functions. Provide management information on inventory performance.
