Junior Operations Associate, Location: Other, Cape Town, Job Type: Full-Time. My client is a hyper growth and well funded start up with ambitions. First and foremost they are a tech/ecommerce company, very analytical in nature. They make decisions fast and continuously iterate as and when new data/insights become available. They are a front runner in the South African ecommerce Industry. They are looking for a Junior Operations Associate to join their team in Cape Town. Someone that is looking to really kickstart their career in an awesome company. Someone who is hungry and ready to tackle a variety of challenges.

Your Responsibilities will include: Data Analysis to improve operation efficiency. Support the greater operations structure in running the day to day operations of the company. This includes Customer Services. Work to optimize operational processes across the business to drive growth and improve efficiency. Work to facilitate performance improvement of various teams in the business through detailed analysis, identification of operational weaknesses, process development and innovation.

Assist and closely collaborate with other teams. Support with market and competitor analysis. Contribute to operational and customer facing product decisions through data driven insights. Support with the daily investigation of order exceptions, along with the compilation of reports on operational failures and customer complaints.

Qualifications, Experience & Attributes Required: Relevant tertiary qualification in commerce or engineering or statistics. 1-3 years work experience in an statistics, operations, finance or consulting environment. Strong analytical ability supported by solid Excel skills. Ability to identify areas of improvement. Advanced ability to use logic and common sense to arrive at conclusions. Willingness to buy into the requirements of a fast paced start-up environment. Ability to verbalize as well as visualize findings and results.

Enterprising spirit and ability to take ownership of tasks. A strong interest in e-commerce. Strong team player.\ Understanding of SQL and QlikView. Salary: R25k - 30k pe month
