Genesis Apartments is a 4 star boutique holiday apartment located in Surfers Paradise.  It is operated by a small but dedicated team providing holiday and longer term guest accommodation and services. Join us as a full time permanent staff, in a front desk receptionist and administrator role, in a friendly and active environment.

We are looking for the following attributes: Well presented and possesses good communication skills. Comfortable with meeting and greeting guests. Past experience in hotel reservations and hotel front desk services will be advantageous. Have a working knowledge of HIRUM Property Management System and Hitsite Channel Manager (or similar). Have a good sense of professional work ethics, be self motivated, able to take initiative and able to make independent decisions. Fluent with managing social media apps such as Facebook and Instragram. Website editing ability will be useful.

Key Responsibilities Include: Welcoming and greeting guests. Check-in and check-out of guests. Handling reservations both online and direct. Promoting bookings through direct and online means. Banking and some accounts management. Liaising with cleaning, maintenance staff and contractors. Keeping lobby and reception area clean and presentable. Responding to telephone and email enquiries. Provide guest support as required. Work some weekends and public holidays as required.
