Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE)

Nova Networks Inc. is growing and we are actively seeking a Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE) to join our team in Ottawa.

A little bit about the job:  Job duties include but are not limited to:
    Architecting and planning upgrades or new deployments of Microsoft servers
    Implementations of new servers (physical and virtual)
    Handling 3rd level escalation of server issues, and documenting solutions
    Communicating extensively within a multi-disciplinary IT environment
    Ensuring that client requirements are being met and when possible, exceeded
    Administration and maintenance of Microsoft systems
    Engineering solutions for Active Directory, Exchange and Citrix
    A little bit about what we’re looking for in you:
    Extensive experience with deploying, administering and troubleshooting Microsoft Server, Exchange 2007/2010, VMware virtualization, networking, and backup systems, utilizing SCCM
    Certification in at least one of the following: MCSA/MCSE 2003, MCITP, SharePoint or Exchange MCP, VMware, Citrix
    Experience and knowledge with virtualization and SAN Storage
    Experience with Exchange Server 2007/2010, email archiving, anti-spam, anti-virus products and Blackberry Enterprise Server
    Ability to develop and maintain comprehensive documentation
    Outstanding communication skills, verbal and written
A few more things we’re looking for in you that would be nice to have (but not a deal-breaker):
    SharePoint administration and deployments
    Linux or AIX experience
    Database experience especially SQL Server 2005/2008
    Microsoft Communication Server and Lync
    Networking or VoIP skills
    Knowledge of or certification in ITIL
    Experience with monitoring and management systems such as SMS, System Centre
    Other certifications such as CCNA, Windows 7, HyperV, IBM software
    Ability to communicate in both official languages
    Current Enhanced Reliability clearance or ability to obtain.
