Service Technician

Reporting to the Service Manager, this position works independent of direct supervision and is responsible for all aspects of customer service in the field as well as creating follow-up documentation of results.
Duties include troubleshooting, testing, and repairs of our clients products both in-house and in the field; coordinating with our service team in regards to replacement parts; preparation of detailed field service reports; assisting in preparing technical documents.
Knowledge, Skills, Attributes and Experience:
Certification as Millwright, Heavy-Duty Mechanic, Machine Fitter or ASTTBC technologist
Relevant work experience with gearbox and power transmission products; mobile and stationary hydraulics; and on/off highway trucks
Experience with Electrical/VFD/PLC
Previous field service background preferred
Ability to interact with customers in a professional manner
Good organization of tools and materials
Consistent execution of safe work habits and practices
Confident, articulate, and self-disciplined
Computer literacy including experience with the MS Office
Ability to travel internationally immediate and on call; travel expected 35-40% of year
Able to work in extreme atmospheres and climates
Must be able to take required training: BOSIET, HUET, H2S, etc.
Valid passport or ability to obtain one
Valid driver’s license and a clean driver’s abstract
