About The Role: Working alongside the Merchandise, Programming, Marketing, Presenter, Production and Studio Teams, your role as the Category Producer is to plan, develop, analyze, and critique shows within your allocated category/s to meet category, sales and branding objectives as well as programming plans within budget. We are looking for a creative team player with strong organizational and communication skills to become an integral part of the TVSN Producer team.

Duties And Responsibilities: The execution of this role will include the following activities: Participate in the initial program planning with the Category Manager to determine program objectives, themes, content, format, schedule and targets Identify production requirements and liaise with the Studio Manager, Executive Producer and other departments to achieve an acceptable technical, budgetary and presentation outcome Plan, brief and produce shoots as required for any non-studio based visions Liaise with the Graphic and Edit suite using the appropriate forms and within the set 'lead times' the production of any required stills, graphics and video inserts Prepare and outline additional costs (if applicable) per show Communicate detailed program production plans (incl. running order) based on the final program objectives to Presenters, Guests and Crew, Source and organize T calls Organize, brief and confirm all on-air guests Finalize presentation strategies with presenters Brief the Director and crews regarding the final program plans. Reduce programs on-air, including driving the appropriate pace and energy required for the show. Recording of BC's and Spotlights as requested.

Compliance in showing products e.g. 'Hot Sellers', BC's, jewellery and wardrobe 'Up Sells' in shows as requested by the Executive Producer Following guidelines set by the Executive Producer in relation to sell techniques, on-air Presentation and Post Production analysis including doing the Show Reports. Ensure that all that goes to air under your supervision is done so in accordance with the TVSN QA and Compliance guidelines, as well as Production Guidelines. Provide ideas for new program and creative production concepts. Participate in activities through providing services to the extent of skills, experience and training; be available for varied hours (incl. late nights and weekends) to meet special programming/ company requirements, attend internal and external meetings as required. Program the format of shows in consultation with the Category Manager.
