Social Media Expert, Location: City Centre, Cape Town, Job Type: Full-Time. We are looking for a social media coordinator who is creative and passionate about digital marketing. The successful applicant will be responsible for assisting with strategy and content development, copywriting and execution as well as other administrative tasks. You must be able to create consistent, meaningful content on all social media platforms. We are looking for someone who is digitally strong, but is able to understand analytics, provide statistical reporting, suggestions of improvement.
Duties and Responsibilities: Manage clients’ Social Media Pages. Write monthly content across social media platforms. Manage a monthly ad budget. Provide reports on metrics and recommend ways to improve on those metrics through testing and new initiatives. Stay aware of local and international social media trends and tools. Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness. Monitor trends and changes in social media platforms. Understand how the social media impacts search traffic.
Requirements and Qualifications: 2+ years’ experience in digital marketing and social media. Strong familiarity with the business applications of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.) Understanding of social media metrics; able to interpret the results and take action to increase effectiveness of social media campaigns. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Content writing + community management experience.
