Transport Broker, Location: Westville, West Suburbs, Job Type: Full-Time. Fast-Growing Transport Brokerage looking for a Broker to develop the company book by expanding the Customer data base as well as the Transport sub-contractors’ database.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following: Develop book of contracts / business. Manage own external client base. Manage and build relationships with subcontractors. Manage rate negotiations between company and customer. Manage rate negotiations between company and subcontractors. Help seek out hauliers to add to company database. Manage day to day operations between Hauliers and Clients of company. After hours contact with all relevant parties, 7 days a week.

Requirements: Relevant logistics qualification will be an advantage 5+ years of experience in a transport / brokerage environment required Incredible customer service commitment Strong communication skills Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Self-motivated individual who is able to work independently, without direct supervision.
