Experienced Carpenter, Location: Other, Cape Town, Job Type: Full-Time. VC Fit-Out is looking for an experienced carpenter with driver's license and leadership skills. We are in the business of constructing exterior timber products such as Decks, Pergolas, Screens, Cladding, and Carports etc.

Requirements: 5+ years experience in the construction of these specific products working with various timber and composite materials. Clean appearance, well mannered and well spoken. Self motivated, problem solving and innovative.

Daily Tasks will include: Leading a team of four on site. Driving between sites and suppliers. Reading and understanding the construction plans. Organizing your site, staff and tools in order for you to manage the job at hand and execute successfully within the prescribed time. Being able to communicate with the clients and site agents effectively. Daily updating and communicating with management.

Remuneration: Affiliated with the BIBC the successful candidate will receive his monthly benefits. Holiday Fund Sick Leave Pension Fund Wages, R70.00/h  (8hr work days) Standard time, R105.00/h (approved overtime), R140.00/h (Sundays and public Holidays).
