Ticketing Agents Vacancy, Location: Polokwane / Pietersburg, Limpopo, Job Type: Full-Time, Travel & Ticketing Consultant /Witbank / Polokwane. The organization is currently seeking to appoint a Ticketing Consultant to process and manage all Local and International Airline tickets.
Duties/Assignments: Handle all incoming correspondence professionally, Reconcile travel bookings, Record all purchase orders issued for travel, Reconcile travel bookings with supplier statements weekly/monthly, Address any discrepancies or queries with suppliers, Arrange for prompt weekly/monthly payments of suppliers to avoid interest charges and loss of bookings, Create quotes for clients, Ensure that profit per booking is clearly tracked, Create invoices for clients on confirmed bookings, Monitor accounts receivable, Monitor accounts payable, Meet with Finance Officer monthly to perform reconciliation, Field all office phone calls and attend to timeously, Track all bookings and follow through on client quotes issued, Assist with any reasonable request with no loss or risk to our Organisation and clients
Knowledge: MS Office, Fax, Internet and email communication. Minimum 3 years out bound travel agency experience. Must have a sound knowledge and experience in International Travel. Knowledge of the Hajj and Umrah Market, Negotiating with air lines and Hotels advantage. Basic knowledge of world travel (visas and health and safety). Liaison with respective Airlines for Block bookings
Responsibility Qualifications: Grade 12 with a relevant Travel and Tourism Diploma. International Amadeus Computer System Certified.
Experience: General customer services and telephone ethics. General Travel Agent Operations. Ticketing of Local and International travel
