Senior Software Engineer C++ or C#, Brisbane, Western Suburbs & Ipswich. Our client is a leading engineering, software and manufacturing company, delivering innovative, Productive Technology to the local and international Mining industry.  They are a local success story, continually pushing the boundaries of their technologies, to develop solutions for mining today and in the future.

They currently have a need for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join their successful R&D team in the outer Western Suburbs of Brisbane.  You will work in a high functioning, collaborative, multi-disciplinary development team following strong Agile processes.

The successful candidate will possess at least 4 years skill and commercial experience in (most) of the following: University level qualifications in Software Engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology. Designing, developing and implementing algorithms and software for physical mechanisms (Windows Embedded Touch-screen PC).

C#.Net and/or C++, MS SQL Server, Visual Studio, Mercurial, Jira, Team-City. Understanding of Agile and Lean development practices. Understanding of multi-threaded environments with respect to real-time data processing. Applicants must be a Permanent Resident in Australia to be considered.
