Construction Estimator, Company: Gordion Construction, LOCATION: Surrey, BC. We are currently recruiting for a full time permanent Construction Estimator.

Overview: This role is reporting directly to the Construction Manager and will be required to prepare cost analysis and estimates for various construction projects. Salary: $39.42 per hour Address: 200, 7505-134A Street, Surrey, BC V3W 7B3

Job Description: Prepare estimates of labour and material costs, Prepare master format estimates (Class A), Prepare and maintain a directory of suppliers and contractors, Prepare estimates for general expenses and overheads, Estimate pre-contract costs, Advise on tendering procedures, Set up cost monitoring and reporting systems, Monitor and adjust contract expenditures, Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications and Provide economic feasibility studies and preliminary estimates for proposed projects.

Job Requirements: At least 3 years working experience as a Construction Estimator for Residential and Commercial projects, Completion of related education, Able to use Scheduling Packages and create project spreadsheets, Organizational skills in order to handle multiple tasks within a high-pressure work site environment, Interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral), and Ability to work effectively with all levels of management and employees.
