Good Hope Studies has been a leading provider of English Language Tuition to international clients for 23yrs. We’re looking for an experienced Academic Operations Manager, for our Newlands Campus in Cape Town.

Key Responsibilities: Academic Planning: managing all aspects of the planning (students + teachers to classes) for both campuses (Newlands & City Centre) using our in-house (web-based) planning system. Teacher (HR) Management: including managing a team of up to 40 teachers; managing and collaborating on continuous teacher development and continuous teacher recruitment; Client Care (Newlands): monitoring all client-academic progress; reporting on corporate client attendance issues and addressing any client issues if/when they arise.

Qualifications/Experience: B.Degree in Linguistics / Languages / Education or related (desirable, not essential). Delta (state which modules you have completed). Education Management (preferably within an EFL environment) including HR.

Personal Attributes: Impeccable English communication skills (non-negotiable); Excellent computer skills; Willingness to learn and adapt; Ability to prioritize tasks effectively; Be highly organized and deadline driven.
