Commmunications Manager

Wallace Myers our client, a super online company who are growing at a ferocious pace are currently looking for a Communications Manager.

The successful candidate will own, develop, and implement all communication activities that support the strategic marketing goals: branding, collaterals, presentations, advertising, promotions, customer communications, help guides, , event messaging, web content, public relations and more.

Key Responsibilities

    * Defining brand messages and creating a wide range of content.
    * Assist in developing marketing and promotional programs aligned with the brand that drive new, and foster existing, customer relationships.
    * Monitor accuracy of content throughout brand properties (website, social, collateral and more) to ensure brand consistency.
    * Collaborate with internal teams on product development.
    * Further develop and refine our brand messages.
    * Act as brand guardian both internally and externally via all marketing channels/communications.
    * Work with the Managing Manager to develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to increase brand awareness with customers

Skills / Experience:

    * A storyteller and content creator with minimum of 3 years experience. Preferably in creative ideas, copywriting, advertising, communications and digital media.
    * Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
    * Key experience in B2C / B2B environments will include developing and executing targeted creative ideas, social media marketing, managing projects and liaising with external partners.
    * Passion for solving problems creatively, thinking big, starting small and moving fast.
    * A strong work ethic and desire to do whatever it takes to get the job done.
    * Excellent people skills with proven track record of success coordinating and interacting with colleagues in cross-functional teams.
    * Great examples to hand of exciting campaigns, copywriting and ideas.
    * Experience as team lead or second-in-command a bonus.
