Restaurant Manager, Location, Other, Northern Suburbs, Job Type Full-Time. Oversee overall management and control of the functions and banqueting operation - maintaining 5 star standards set by both the company and the client within agreed budgetary limits.
Efficient sales and marketing of the functions department as well as the coordination of all functions, conventions and any other events. To liaise or ensure liaison with the client a few days before the function to confirm requirements. To greet the host and circulate during the course of the function to ensure availability in the event of a problem or complaint. Check the function room for cleanliness, table layout and stipulated specific requirements before guests arrive to enable shortcomings to be rectified.
Assisting with other F&B facilities reservations on a daily basis - ensure a prompt, courteous response and follow up to all enquiries, bookings and requirements. Sufficient monitoring of operations during service times. Assist in control of production costs. Assist the Management team as required. Build and maintain customer and client relationships.
Beverages Manager: Take control of X2 coffee shops, Vending department (beverage vending only) and retail store Responsible for income statement, standards and overseeing X2 managers, 25 beverage staff. Needs to be presentable, well-spoken and able to work in upmarket corporate environment. Own transport.
