Sales Engineer – Specialised Valve and Process Automation, Exclusive to Falcon Young, Sydney, CBD, Inner West & Eastern Suburbs, Salary, $80-100K Base + Super + Car Allowance.

The Role: We are currently seeking an exceptional Sales Engineer in a full time role for an Exciting Organisation. As a key member of our Regional Sales team you will be in a privileged position working alongside the best people delivering the mechanical solutions in the process control game.

Here is what your day will entail: New Business – visiting new and existing End Users, Skid Builders and Consultants and assist them in the selection of process and automation valves, regulators, positioners, instruments, steam traps, remote telemetry and flow computer related products to suit their equipment.

Finding solutions to customer problems – Helping clients achieve the product for their application using your knowledge and internal technical resources. Managing sales CRM and processes through to completion and territory planning.

What Is Required: Prior Experience in identifying technical sales opportunities within the Heavy Process Industries, End User, Consultant and Skid Builder space. Proven ability to create a sales plan and drive implementation through business development activities. Understanding of technical processes from a product, application and equipment perspective. Ability to develop relationships at Engineering, Maintenance and Procurement level by attending trade shows, networking functions and making direct approaches.
