In-house Legal Advisor, Location, Eastern Pretoria, Pretoria / Tshwane, Advertised By Private, Job Type Full-Time. One of the largest furniture removal companies in South Africa seeks to employ a skilled Inhouse Legal Advisor to provide best practice legal solutions to the business in achieving a sound corporate brand strategy. The successful candidate will be based at the company’s head-office in Pretoria-East.

Responsibilities: Assess legislative and/or regulatory business developments and design effective legal solutions including (but not limited to) customer service contracts and legal documentation.

Investigate and adjudicate all customer complaints according to contractual agreements. Provide prompt verbal and written feedback to all telephonic, email and social media customer complaints. Act as legal expert and liaison in any required dispute resolution and negotiation. Engage in technical interpretation, consultation and implementation of any other legal business matters.

Minimum Requirements: A BCom Law degree (a post-graduate degree ideal), specialising in Mercantile Law. (A similar qualification will be considered). Proven related skills and experience. At least 3 - 5 years' experience after articles completed. Admitted Attorney / Advocate. Fluent professional Afrikaans and English written and verbal communication skills. Accomplished and influential dispute-resolution and negotiation skills. Innovative conceptualisation skills and critical strategic reasoning ability.

Practical and legal knowledge of e-commerce and social media advantageous. An autonomous, hands-on and results-orientated work ethic. Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office. Ability to work under pressure. Salary: R25 000 to R30 000, depending on skill and experience.
