Chef, Entertainment Enterprises Pty Ltd, Seeking Qualified Chef for Casual Position. Empire Bar is looking for a Chef to join our tight-knit and friendly team this summer. We are a large multi-level venue with an a-la-carte dining menu, as well as separate function catering and set menus.
We are open for lunch and dinner 7 days a week, including public holidays, so you must be willing to work weekends, evenings and possibly split shifts. This role would suit someone who has had previous experience working in an upmarket pub environment and has experience in a high pressure kitchen facilitating a large number of covers. The successful applicant will have good time management skills; be able to work well as part of a team and maintain a high level of hygiene and cleanliness. Must be passionate about food, cooking and the industry and be the type of person who is constantly looking to develop and grow their skills and knowledge.
At Empire Bar we strive to provide the best dining experience and we take pride in the fact that almost everything we serve is made from scratch in house. Head Chef, Guy Cox-Smith, has created a menu that includes traditional favourites along with modern and inventive dishes that we are able to serve at a high volume, whilst maintaining the high standards we have set for ourselves.
We are looking for someone who can slot into our team and is able to work across a number of sections, including pots/pans, grill, larder and pizzas. Staff meals and free on-site parking are available; conveniently located in Burswood on Great Eastern Highway and close to public transport. Full time position may be a possibility at a later date, for the right candidate.
