SimplePay is a fast-growing small business that's delighting an increasing number of clients every day. We currently provide super simple payroll software to clients in South Africa, Singapore and Ireland. As part of our mission to constantly improve our product and deliver the best possible experience to our customers, we are looking for a bright and enthusiastic problem-solver to join our fun, dynamic team in a QA capacity.

The role requires someone with a passion for technology and a keen eye for detail. Prior testing experience will be advantageous but is not a requirement. What’s most important is a great attitude and the ability to learn and apply your skills and knowledge to ensure the best possible results for our clients. The role also offers various career growth opportunities based on the successful candidate’s goals and ability.

Responsibilities will include: Follow instructions, create test plans to complete QA of new features and bug fixes thoroughly and in a timely manner. Provide clear and comprehensive feedback, including modifying the test plan if necessary. Assist in creating and refining the processes and documents relevant to QA. Assist the development team in replicating errors and bugs. Proactively test the system to find inconsistencies and bugs before they impact our clients.

Requirements: Exposure to / experience in tax, payroll and / or accounting environments in a support, sales and / or training capacity. Demonstrated problem solving ability and attention to detail. Strong written communication. Numerical ability. Willingness and ability to learn. Bonus points: Prior testing experience
