About the Role: We are currently recruiting for an experienced Sales Showroom Consultant to join our National Client working out of their Chatswood Showroom. Specialising in timber and aluminium windows and doors, our Client is an industry leader in their field.
Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will provide a unique level of customer satisfaction whilst presenting a diverse range of products, with ongoing product training provided. This role will be based from the showroom and will see you developing relationships with builders, developers, trades and residential customers as well as internal customers.
Due to the nature of this role, you will need to be flexible to work Mon - Friday 8.30am – 4.30pm along with 2 Saturdays a month 8am -12.30pm (which is paid for at OT rates).
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Showcase our client's products to match the needs of each customer fostering a solution selling approach. Liaise with customers both face to face, over the phone as well as online. Build and maintain new customer relationships to maximise every sales opportunity. Be a subject matter expert in the whole suite of products from both a technical and design consultation approach. Undertake plan take-offs and can estimate and quote on jobs. Ensure orders are input into the system in a timely and efficient manner. Ensure all KPI's are met and all reporting, documentation and order processing is done in a timely and accurate manner.
Skills and Experiences: Demonstrated experience in a similar Sales Showroom Rep role. Sales experience with a proven track record to close the sale. Ability to liaise with a wide variety of customers, both internal and external with excellent communication skills. Ability to work autonomously and be self-driven to meet KPIs whilst being part of a successful team. Strong computer and organisational skills.
Experience in the following will be advantageous, but not essential: Experience in the building/trades industry. Experience with Salesforce, V6 or a CRM.
