About the role: We are seeking an experienced sales/ account manager to cover Australian markets and to establish our innovative technology solutions selling and help our clients to solve their complex issues into simpler and more productive. This position is created to support our new business line of emerging technologies product solutions for Australia and New Zealand . Only candidates with Valid AU work rights will be considered for this role
Key Responsibilities: Identify business opportunities by effectively engaging prospects; evaluating their position in the industry; relentlessly researching and analysing sales opportunities. Establish key contacts and develop strategic relationships with prospects, partners, resellers, clients for sales optimisation. Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements.
Identify opportunities to develop new accounts, also sales opportunities with new accounts via various channels (telephone, email, social networking, events, etc.) Act as single point of contact for assigned accounts. Leverage Sales Materials, Partners, Vendors et al to create necessary awareness of the product, also increase sales and revenue for the firm. Provide forecast for deals to ensure accurate pipeline, planning, execution and financials. Identify product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; Keep abreast of best practices in market and communicate trends back to the business
Work Experience and Qualifications: Bachelor degree or equivalent. Prefer work experience with an established market player, either as a Sales Rep or Account Executive. Must have over 3 years of experience in selling enterprise business solutions to either midmarket or large enterprise clients. Must have experience in hardware/software sales life cycle, able to create own differentiators and identify/convince customers of unique value proposition of the offering.
Must have experience in selling in consumer verticals. Must have experience cold calling, exhibiting at industry events, conducting and driving attendance to webinars and seminars. Must be willing to travel up to 25%. Strong clientele network and relevant industry contacts is a plus. Effective communication and presentation skills to interface with high-level customers. Proven sales ability and drive to exceed targets. Ability to learn quicker and work independently with a strong drive for results. Ability to lead and coach junior staffs on need basis.
