Office Administrator Position Available, Location, Other, Northern Suburbs, Job Type Full-Time. Company in Epping Industria 1 is looking for a reliable full-time office administrator to assist in day to day operations of the admin department. They will undertake administrative tasks and ensure that the rest of the staff has adequate support to work efficiently. Must be self- motivated, trust-worthy and detail driven with a good understanding of the inner workings of an office environment. Tasks will include assisting with bookkeeping. The ideal candidate will be competent in prioritizing and working with little supervision.
Responsibilities: Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies. Manage agendas/travel arrangements/appointments etc. for the upper management. Manage phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages etc.). Support budgeting and bookkeeping procedures. Create and update records and databases with personnel, financial and other data. Track stocks of office supplies and place orders when necessary. Submit timely reports and prepare presentations/proposals as assigned. Assist colleagues whenever necessary. Any additional ad hoc duties assigned by management.
Requirements: Proven experience as an office administrator, office assistant or relevant role. Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities. Excellent organizational and leadership skills. Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles. Excellent knowledge of MS Office and experience in using accounting software. Matric Certificate or equivalent college diploma.
Qualifications in secretarial studies will be an advantage but not essential. Driver’s License.
