Fabrication Welder
Terms of Employment: Temporary, Full Time, Day, Evening
Salary: $13.00 to $18.00 Hourly for 40 hours per week
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school, Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Welder Trade Certification
Experience: 5 years or more
Major Work Area: New fabrication
Type of Establishment/Work Setting Experience: Manufacturing, Industrial
Area of Specialization: Custom fabrication, Structural construction, Factory assembly
Welding Techniques: Resistance, spot or seam, Shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), Gas metal arc welding (GMAW) (MIG)
Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
Specific Skills: Interpret welding process specifications, Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment
Additional Skills: Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes, Layout patterns
Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, Safety glasses/goggles, Gloves, Mask, Face shield, Welding helmet
Languages: English
