Butchery Manager Location Johannesburg South, Johannesburg Job Type Full-Time My client is a Wholesale meat distribution company, with a retail outlet in City Deep, and they are looking for a manager for the retail store. The person they appoint will oversee the retail side of the operation, and a new initiative they have recently installed, ie. a Fish production/packing plant.

Requirements: Must be matriculated and have retail butchery experience, cold store, refrigeration type would be preferable.  Alternatively, they would consider a candidate who has managed a supermarket, including butchery. Own transport is a must Ability to work a 10 hour shift Clean criminal record Able to work Rotational weekend shifts Store leadership/management skills Assertive Able to work unsupervised and produce “own the branch” income statement/profit and loss account Able to Work under pressure in a tough environment The store has a diverse clientele, many customers coming from the rural areas and surrounding African Countries, especially the DRC, to buy meat in Bulk.
