Retail/Customer Assistant Location City Centre, Cape Town (Please read through all requirements before applying - incomplete applications will not be considered) Bag Drop, a new service offering Luggage Storage in Cape Town is looking for a retail sales & Customer assistant with a keen interest in the travel/tourism industry. The shop is located in Buitenkant Street, Cape Town and will operate 7 days a week. The successful candidate should be able to work retail shifts and be available on weekends/public holidays and over the December/January festive season. It is imperative that the candidate have a valid drivers license. An ideal candidate should strive for customer service excellence, be outgoing, presentable and trustworthy. A local knowledge of Cape Towns sightseeing attractions will be beneficial in answering customers tourism related questions.

Duties and responsibilities: Maintain the store standards and adhere to company policies and procedures· Manage the customer experience. Ensure that excellent customer service is demonstrated at all times· Maintain store cleanliness &order. Receive purchase payments and accurately handle CASH, credit/debit card transactions (a knowledge of the YOCOPOS system is beneficial)· Be vigilant at all times to minimize 3rd party liability/theft. Represent the company in your personal presentation and dress Requirements. Must be proficient in English and an additional language. Garde 12/Matric qualification essential. Customer & people skills. Friendly/approachable. Contactable references.
