Location Other, Cape Town Advertised By Agency Job Type Full-Time SEO Strategist: To analyze, review and implement changes to websites so they are optimized for search engines. This means maximizing the traffic to a site by improving page rank within search engines.

Objectives: Customers Internal: liaise regularly with Editor, marketing manager, Work closely with marketing team and community projects. External: ensure good relationship with sponsors Meet all requirements of negotiated contracts for events, competitions. Meet monthly with barter deal radio partners to monitor progress and effectiveness of campaigns. Timeously responding to all queries/complaints Business Processes Develop and implement SEO campaigns, strategies and initiatives. Make website show up at the top of the search engine results. Implement and testing of various search engine marketing techniques, web site layouts and advertising for search optimization. Analyze websites for improvement. Research and implement linking strategies. Conduct Natural Search Research. Create client - bound research and execution documents. Research and implement multiple page level optimization. Create monthly, quarterly and adhoc reports Work with across functional departments to develop and track all details of SEO initiatives Perform detailed SEO audits for departments and client competitor sights Ensure that new site pages follow proper SEO guidelines with respect to coding and adherence to establish copy/keyword best practices

Other duties as assigned Qualifications: Minimum: Bachelors Degree in Communications, Marketing, or other Business Discipline preferred

Experience: Minimum: Two years experience Advantageous: Experience as SEO Strategist Strong organisational
