Job Duties
As an integral part of the marketing team you will be tasked with delivering business development programs for Acceleware’s High Performance Computing (HPC) products and services for the oil and gas and computer aided engineering markets. Working in a collaborative environment to research, generate, plan, and manage key marketing and communication projects. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, this position acts as the point of contact for partner teams across the organization and external industry partners.
Strategic Thinking:
    Apply demonstrated knowledge of high tech industry products and programs
    Identify new business opportunities
    Conduct comparative research on competitor products
    Generate, identify, and gather innovative and forward thinking ideas from experts within the organization
    Create and deliver marketing initiatives that drive toward the achievement of channel and business plan targets
Relationship Management:
    Build and maintain relationships with all internal departments
    Act as the primary contact for internal product managers to coordinate requirements related to marketing and business development programs
    Build and develop relationships with integration partners and industry associates
Orchestration:
    Product and program planning including: market research, communication, adherence to budget and standards and procedures, tracking and monitoring
    Plan business development projects and co-ordinate activities with product managers, integration partners, hardware partners and industry associations
    Deliver all aspects of business development projects including: content creation and management, marketing and monitoring
    Coordinate Acceleware’s attendance at industry tradeshows, conferences and events
    Develop and launch e-commerce strategies to generate interest and build product sales
    Design and conduct market research questionnaires
    Prepare product analysis reports and research papers for management
Requirements
    A bachelor’s degree in commerce or business administration (specialization in marketing preferred)
    Preferred 5 years or more of experience in marketing with preference given to experience in working with HPC software for Oil and Gas (specifically seismic software and emerging technologies), HPC services (specifically relating to GPU acceleration services) and Computer Aided Engineering (specific ally experience in electromagnetics) industries
    Extensive experience in process and system development, ability to build new services and products from the ground up, including comprehensive experience in conducting original market research
    Proven business development growth and experience with working for small business
    Experience in coordinating and delivering local, national and international events
    Experience in developing and delivering all aspects of demand generation programs which adhere to the Acceleware brand, including content creation and management, the use of social marketing tools, events, advertising, branding
    Strong relationship management skills with experience in working with external service agencies, integration partners and industry associations
    Advanced computer skills including; Microsoft office, Illustrator & CRM software (salesforce.com)
    Strong leadership skills and proven project management skills
Salary
    $36.12 CAD per hour for 35 hours per week
