Essential skills required: Generating CAD’s on Adobe Illustrator Drafting patterns and liaising with patternmaker Sewing and sample cutting Coordinating fashion shoots. Neat and organized with admin Must have a drivers license

Duties will also include: Maintenance and purchase of supplies, handling of correspondence with suppliers. Working with the sample room to make sure samples are ready as per deadlines. Assisting with production, must have an excellent eye for quality. Sourcing of fabrics and trims, should have a good knowledge of fabrics. Advantageous Bilingual  – Afr/eng Fashion design diploma Candidates will be required to complete a practical test - can be arranged over a weekend The successful applicant exhibits creativity, fashion awareness, a willingness to implement the designer's creative vision, and good communication and networking skills. Hard worker with pleasant attitude and respectful manner. Working hours are 41 hours per week, and may increase to meet deadlines. Annual package R120 000.00
