Location, Uitenhage, Eastern Cape, Advertised By Agency, Job Type Full-Time, Supply Chain Coordinator. My client is seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator to join their team to be based in Uitenhage.
The purpose of this position is to co-ordinate supply chain activities; maintain integrity of the supply chain, service providers and information relating to the supply chain. To assume responsibility for the operational activities of the Buyers.
Requirements: National Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain Management / Purchasing Management. 3-5 years’ experience as an International Buyer, Supply Chain Coordinator or similar position, preferably in the automotive industry either OEM, or Tier 1 supplier. Proven experience in dealing with overseas suppliers. Above average Microsoft Office knowledge (MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook). Working knowledge of ERP tools with Syspro preferred. Excellent communication skills.

Responsibility: Maintain sea freight and airfreight registers for all, shipments. Monitor shipments daily and maintain Shipment, Status Board. Monitor Bringing- In – Cost (BIC) to identify trends and implement corrective actions or improvements. Maintain import tariff schedule and communicate changes to service providers. Continuously maintain Supply Chain Breakdown with newest changes received from Service Providers.
Salary: R Market Related
