Location, Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape, Advertised By Agency, Job Type Full-Time. My client is seeking a Material Controller to join their team to be based in Port Elizabeth.

Duties: Control all aspects of stock adjustments. Control the movement of raw materials. Responsible for the planning and execution of daily cycle counting in the stores. Responsible for expediting shortages. Effective problem solving of stock discrepancies. Responsible for ensuring tasks within the stores are performed satisfactory. Effective daily, weekly and monthly reporting on the material control functions. Attend meetings as required. Responsible for 3 to 4 different store areas. Supporting store controller on various actions relating to stores. Ensure the deployment of warehouse policies and procedures across all stores under responsibility. Primary responsibility for cycle count program in all stores under responsibility, this includes setting up of count schedule, activating counts, analysing variances and processing of adjustmentsa. Supporting store controllers. Achievement of all set targets in area of responsibilities.

Requirements: Grade 12 with Logistics Course (PPIM) or Diploma in Logistics. 5 years work experience in stores environment. 5 years experience on BAAN or other MRP Systems. Must be prepared to work shifts, overtime / weekends. Salary: RMarket Related
