Qualified Accountant - Global Mobility Payroll

Our client is a large multinational based in Dublin. They are looking for a Global Mobility/European Tax Accountant to join their accounting and finance team in Dublin. We are seeking applications from highly specialised and ambitious candidates. The successful candidate will have ownership of all payroll, accounting and stock option procedures and they will work to ensure all accounting tasks are completed in a timely and effective manner.

Responsibilities:

    * Accountable for the correct recording of all accounting entries
    * Particular accounting of payroll associated balance sheets and income statements.
    * Arrange monthly balance sheets and implement on all matters of importance.
    * Offer advice in mobility payroll and develop a solid connection with all internal divisions.
    * Present recommendations and proposals in equity analysis
    * Precise taxation of stock options
    * Provide expertise across a variety of payroll procedures
    * Any other ad hoc accounting tasks as required

Requirements:

    * Accounting or other related field or an Accounting Technician qualification.
    * Preferably qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA is beneficial.
    * Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in an Accounting or Payroll position.
    * Excellent SAP and MS Office skills are essential.
    * General knowledge of European tax and social security systems
    * Experience in a multi-country payroll setting is desirable
