Description: Our client based in Umhlanga seeks a talented 2nd line support engineer to join their team! Role - Second Line Support Engineer. To support the daily operational needs of the MVNE and various MVNO's within the Company.

Key Performance Areas: Identify, troubleshoot, research, support and resolve issues in relations to helpdesk requests. Ensure all problems are attend to and resolved according to the helpdesk SLA. Focus on Service delivery to the Business.Minimum Requirements of the Job Educational Requirements: Matric. PHP and or .Net qualification, SQL and MySQL, Tertiary qualification would be beneficial

Experience: Minimum 2-3 year support experience within a similar support role , experience dealing with or supporting Cellular or Telco Technologies. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

 Strong attention to detail: Windows and Windows Server operational and Technical knowledge. Experienced with IIS and Apache -Expert level. Must be deadline orientated. Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills. Excellent Problem Solving Skills. SQL and MYSQL scripting for automation of tasks. Linux experience essential 2-3 years. Linux Scripting & Windows PowerShell Scripting essential. PHP and .Net coding skills. Experience working with Alerting and Monitoring Systems. Application Layer support , Linux 7 Wildfly , Jbos. Knowledge of Cloud infrastructure (AWS , Azure). Telco Support would be beneficial.
