Senior Chef De Partie, Location, Modimolle / Nylstroom, Limpopo, Advertised By Agency, Job Type Full-Time. My client, a small group of boutique hotels based in Pretoria, is looking for a Senior Chef De Partie for their five-star lodge in the Waterberg, north of Bela-Bela. The successful candidate will be particularly strong with A-La Carte dining. The position is live-in. The lodge is very remote and the successful candidate will work three weeks on, one week off.

Minimum requirements: Matric Not Negotiable. Formal culinary qualification (City & Guilds preferred) and references. Minimum 2 years’ experience in a FIVE STAR hotel/lodge environment, AFTER in-service training. Computer literate (MS Office, POS and PMS)

Responsibilities include following: Menu planning, Cost control & calculations, Stock control and ordering, Ordering and supplier negotiations, Staff management, Staff training, Hygiene control, Customer service and guest interaction. Salary is R10 000 CTC plus accommodation.
