A restaurant based on a well-established wine farm just outside of Paarl is currently seeking to employ an outgoing and passionate restaurant Manager to take the restaurant to new heights.
Requirements: Matric Certificate/ Grade 12 Certificate. Relevant tertiary qualification. 3- 5 years’ experience in a Restaurant Manager role. Outgoing personality and lots of energy. Excellent communication skills. Excellent people motivational skills. Wide knowledge of food preparation and presentation. Exposure to hospitality labour law. Excellent wine knowledge in general and its service delivery expectations.
Responsibilities: Effectively manage all service aspects of the restaurant, including a la carte, functions and picnics. Ensuring excellent food presentation. Ensuring that all customers are satisfied with the service. Responsible for all administrative duties relevant to the restaurant. Drive the financial viability of the restaurant through, sales generation, management of staff and assets. Handling of client queries. Staff training. Overall stock control.
