Audit firm looking for skilled auditor for short term audit assignment (4 to 6 weeks) Location  Randburg, Johannesburg An audit firm is looking for an experienced audit senior / supervisor to lead an audit team for a short term project that will last 4 to 6 weeks. Duties on the project include: - Overall management of the audit - Ability to lead the audit competently without constant supervision - Primary communication with the client - Planning of the audit - Execution of the audit (including all complex sections) - Assume responsibility for work of junior staff - Supervision and management of junior staff - Responsible for all audit confirmations, etc - Review and finalisation of financial statements - Completion procedures and reporting - Some experience with group reporting Skills, experience  and attributes required (note that if you don't meet the below requirements, your CV will be screened and will not reach the decision makers): - Completed SAICA articles - Possession of at least a BCom degree and preferably a BCom Honours (CTA / PGDA) - Extensive audit manager / supervisor experience on sizeable audit engagements - Strong command of audit programs (eg Caseware or Teammate) - Strong command of Microsoft Office - Efficient and professional in appearance, demeanor and communication - Availability in February and March. - Full CV (detailing experience and education as well as clients which you have serviced) - Cover letter - Date of birth and copy of ID or Passport
