Procurement Engineer Required - Location: Dubai. At least 3 Years in Procurement in Contracting Industry in local market is desirable, Good English written and spoken, High Computer skills, Knowledge of Middle East markets desirable. Education Degree in Electrical Engineering. Identification of all requirements in requisition for purchase issued by Estimation Department, Maintain the BOQ with updates from suppliers until after awarding the contract. Receiving the price quotations. Prepare schedule of comparison Establish delivery terms, time and stages of inspection for the supply with Project Team, Negotiate the best payment terms and contract conditions, maintaining high level of integrity. Prepare Purchase order Tracking and expediting of delivery of goods. client acceptance/rejection, warranties and other related follow up matters with the supplier till completion of Project. Keep updated with market developments and assist in Vendor Development. Report on budget versus Actual performance on project -wise basis. Arrange and participate in meetings between suppliers and Company Engineers and other personnel to facilitate standardization and economical procurement. Assist Estimation, Tendering and Costing Department as required.
