Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Day
Salary: $49,000.00 to $60,000.00 Yearly for 40 hours per week, Group Insurance Benefits

Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Driver\'s Licence (Class 1 or A), Air Brake (Z) Endorsement, Forklift Operator Certification
Experience: 1 to less than 7 months
Type of Trucking and Equipment: Flatbed
Type of Travel: Short-haul, Local
Documentation Knowledge: Driver logbook, Bill of lading, Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip), Maintenance and repair reports, Trip reports, Accident or incident reports
Communication Equipment Experience: Cellular phone
Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
Specific Skills: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo, Plan travel schedules and routes, Use atlases and other trip planning aids, Receive and relay information to central dispatcher, Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment, Monitor vehicle performance and mechanical fitness, Perform preventive maintenance
