Job Description
Interior Community Services is looking to hire a Casual, on call Early Childhood Educator for our Sahali Daycare.
Successful candidates must have flexible availability.
Description: Responsible for caring for and supervising children ages 3-5 years, maintaining a clean facility, preparing food, and carrying out programming.
Required Education and Experience:
Early Childhood Educator ertification and 6 months experience. Must have current First Aid/CPR and Foodsafe certificates Experience working in a day care setting and effectively caring for children aged 3 – 5 using appropriate techniques.
Ability to work as a team and interact effectively and professionally with coworkers, parents and supervisor
Ability to be adaptable and proactive in the workplace
Ability to communicate effectively both with children and adults Ability to do housekeeping responsibilities to clean/maintain the facility Ability to effectively carry out and contribute to daycare programming Ability to assist children with eating and toileting and clean/change when necessary.
