Durban North Primary School, a small primary school in the heart of Durban North, seeks to employ a dynamic, energetic, sports enthusiast to take over the management and organisation of Boys’ Sport at school. The incumbent will be expected to work as part of a team of highly motivated, enthusiastic teachers and he must be prepared to embrace the ethos of the school and all it stands for. The position is a full time position, involving the teaching and coaching of sport to children between the ages of 5 and 13 years, the organization of fixtures as well as whole school events e.g. galas, sports days. The incumbent will be expected to coach ball skills, cricket, soccer, hockey and swimming. He must be most proficient in cricket and soccer, be able to coach boys’ hockey as well as teach little children to swim.

The incumbent will be expected to be suitably computer literate and be able to organize fixtures and manage teams, keep records and be responsible for sport stock. The incumbent must be able to start on 15 January 2018. Suitable qualifications and/or experience would be an advantage. 13 cheques, pension and medical aid benefits as well as all school holidays apply.
