Job Description:  EMERGENCY PHYSICIAN - IHRIH-EM-2073
 Practice Details: 1.0 Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) position:
 Practice Details:  Royal Inland Hospital is seeking a full-time Emergency Physician to join a dynamic team of doctors providing urgent care services. 1 to 2 fulltime equivalent emergency physicians are required (full-time or half-time work available).

 For those interested, there may be opportunities to do outreach, locums or other short-term work within other Interior Health Communities.
 Qualifications: 
 •Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada (FRCSC)
 •Doctorate in Medicine
 •Certificant of College of Family Physicians of Canada (CCFP)
 •Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification (ACLS)
 •Advanced Trauma Life Support Certification (ATLS)
 •Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certification (PALS)
 •Emergency experience
 •Certificant of College of Family Physicians of Canada-Emerg Med (CCFP-EM), Fellow of Royal College Physicians - Emerg Med (FRCP-EM), or American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) certification.
 •Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA)mandatory.
 Call Schedule:  Hours of work: Approx 12 shifts/month
 On call requirements: 2 x 24hr trauma team leader shifts/month
 Compensation:  Payment Structure:
 •Service Contract
 •TTL call and additional income from a clinical decision unit on fee for service plan
 Estimated Gross Income:
 •$291,918 plus TTL call.
 Overhead:
 •No overhead cost
 •On an Alternative Payment Plan
 RSA Incentives:
 •Relocation assistance up to $10,000 or $15,000 maximum if move is international or over 3,000 km\'s
