Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time
Salary: $26.55 Hourly for 40 hours per week

Skill Requirements:
Education: Some college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Welder Trade Certification
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Major Work Area: Maintenance/repair
Area of Specialization: Auto repair, Machinery or equipment repair
Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
Specific Skills: Interpret welding process specifications, Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment, Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment, Operate brakes, shears and other metal shaping, straightening and bending machines, Determine weldability of materials, Select filler rods, Perform post welding heat treatment, Operate hoisting and lifting equipment, Prepare jigs or set-ups for welding, Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment
