Location, Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape, Advertised By Agency, Job Type Full-Time, Jig Maker. My client from an automotive concern is seeking a Jig Maker to join their team based in Port Elizabeth.

Requirements: N2 Trade Certificate. Qualified Boiler / Fitter or Tool Maker with Trade Test Certificate. Minimum of 5 years experience in a factory environment. Prepared to work limited overtime during projects. Good welder – CO2 and Arc. Good Fault Finding techniques. Jig building experience would be advantageous. Must have own transport (Essential)

Responsibility Duties: Read Blueprints, Drawings, CAD data, Sketches & Timing plans. Calculated material required for projects. Coordinate Jig manufacturing. Manufacturing paint jigs to the required standard for application process. Repair and rework jigs and fixtures. Consult and confer with Programmers and Engineers to discuss Developmental problems and to recommend product modifications. Coordinating a Jig workshop. Ordering of raw materials and consumables. Continues improvements within the paint lines. Support the paint team with implementation of improvements. Salary: RMarket Related
