My client is seeking to employ a Warehouse Manager to join their company

Duties include, but not limited to: Follow and resolve all distribution queries in the shortest possible timeframe within policy framework. Respond to distribution quality related complaints with customer. Conduct daily operations meeting with supervisors to plan activities and workflow. Monitor the timeous and accurate put – away, drop-down, picking and handover of stock to checking. Continuous monitoring of workflow to ensure timeous dispatch of normal, urgent, overnight and airfreight orders. Conduct monthly cycle counts (S5) and specific wall to wall stock takes. Investigate and resolve variances promptly. Ensure all monthly reports are submitted timeously. Assist in preparation of budget for operations. Continuous evaluation of processes to maximize efficiencies within the department and interdepartmental flow. Monitor Transit cost discrepancies

Minimum Requirements: Tertiary qualification in Logistics & Distribution, and/or equivalent. 3-5 years Management experience. Financial exposure to budgets and cost controls. Computer Literate – ERP system knowledge essential – Baan an advantage. Transport knowledge and experience.
